Bediako (Kpone) – Ghana, Jan 1, MNN – The Reverend Elvis Myles Forson, General Overseer Ambassadors Family Chapel (AFC) has assured Ghanaians that with God all things shall be possible at the end, “whatever God has said will surely come to pass”.
In a sermon titled “With God,” to mark the December 31, 2022, Watch Night Service; Rev. Forson quoted scripture verses from the book of Luke, and Jeremiah, stressing that blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.
He admonished Christians to preach the salvation message and win more souls into the kingdom of God and urged Christians to learn and meditate on the word of God and also walk in love as they fellowship together.
He said, “the significance of worshiping God does not depend on miracles only as God requires us to love each other. Men opt to pray to show appreciation to God”.
To climax the end of 2022 the congregation triumphantly marched into 2023 with a special thanksgiving service to crossover to the New Year at the church premises in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality.
The Special Triumphant Watch Night and Crossover Service started with songs of praise and worship led by the ‘Energetic AFC Choir’ and supported by the congregation mostly dressed in white attire to show their gratitude to God amidst the sharing of testimonies.
Rev. Forson, AFC General Overseer who superintended over the service was grateful to God for the victory of crossing over from 2022 to 2023, “God has been good to us, individually and as a nation, for we have come this far by His grace and mercies”.
The elated AFC General Overseer led the congregation to sing melodious hymns backed by the AFC Choir to show appreciation to God.
At midnight the lights in the auditorium were switched off as the congregation joined to pray amidst the firing of firecrackers which illuminated the skies.
