I. Son of man, this week the wicked will flee from thee even though no one pursues them, but the righteous shall continue to be as bold as a lion. Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully. Better the poor, whose walk is blameless, than the rich, whose ways are perverse. Whoever leads the upright along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance. A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper. God forbid that we should forsake the Lord to serve other gods. Will you today proclaim that God forbids that I sacrifice my birthright for temporal joy?
II. Daughter of Zion, remember that whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy. A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion who loves prostitutes squanders his wealth. In justice, a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down. The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern. If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked. When the wicked thrive, so does sin, but the righteous will see their downfall. The righteous detest the dishonest, and the wicked detest the upright. Can you say God Forbid?” Which God are you serving? Have you so soon forgotten the LORD who brought you out of that land of Egypt?
III. Courage, my brothers and sisters; every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar. Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord? Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonour the name of my God. Have you forgotten your days in the house of bondage? Have you forgotten that day of deliverance from that sick bed, from that accident, from nakedness, from emptiness, from loneliness?
IV. My precious brethren in Christ, who shall separate you from the love of Christ? Shall there be tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword? For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. This is a DIVINE WORD OF POWER sent forth through the Authority of Christ Jesus and served to the brethren through God’s Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! MAY GOD FORBID THAT I FORSAKE MY LORD
V. 2023 MY DIVINE YEAR TO PURSUE, CAPTURE, AND TAKE POSSESSION: Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
PRAYER: Father may it be done according to thy will in my life. Lord may I not look at the storms and forsake thee, may the enticing pleasures of this world not diminish my faith in thee, and may the temporal heat of today not force me to run away in Christ Jesus’ name I pray AMEN
