It further commended him for his subsequent election as the Chairman of the Council.
In a press release signed by Mr Mawutor Agbavitor, the Volta Regional NDC Chairman, the party hailed Mr Adjaho’s leadership qualities, citing his wealth of experience, deep knowledge of governance, and unwavering commitment to national service, as attributes that made him an excellent choice to lead the Council in its advisory role to the President.
“His appointment is a source of pride for the Volta Region and reaffirms the caliber of leaders our region continues to produce,” the statement said.
The NDC expressed full confidence in Mr Adjaho’s ability to lead the Council of State with wisdom, integrity, and stability, ultimately strengthening Ghana’s democracy.
The party also celebrated the election and swearing-in of Mr Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, an accomplished businessman and philanthropist, as a regional representative on the Council of State.
His inclusion, the party said, would bring valuable insights and perspectives to enhance the Council’s contributions to national development.
“His appointment further enriches the Council, and we are confident he will serve with dedication and excellence,” the statement added.
The NDC in the Volta Region reaffirmed its commitment to supporting its distinguished sons and daughters who were serving Ghana at various levels of governance.
“We urge them to uphold the values of dedication, fairness, and excellence as they contribute their expertise for the benefit of the nation,” the party stated.
The NDC concluded by wishing both leaders success in their new roles, expressing optimism that their contributions will positively impact national governance and development.
