Techiman (BE/R)-Ghana Mar. 25, GNA – Three aspirants have filed their nominations to contest the Techiman South National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries for the party in the 2024 Election
They are Mr. Christopher Baasongti Beyere who contested the seat in the Election 2020 but lost to Mr. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah of the New Patriotic Party and current Member of Parliament, Mr. Akwasi Yeboah and Dr. Mohammed Awal, a mathematics lecturer at Al-Faruq College of Education, Wenchi, Bono Region.
Mr. Yeboah and Dr. Awal lost the slot to Mr. Beyere in the previous primaries, Mr Edward Fosu-Nsowah, Techiman South Constituency Secretary of the Party told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Techiman, Bono East Region.
Mr Fosu-Nsowah emphasised the need for the candidates and their supporters to consider the contest as an in-house affair seeking to unite the Party to contest for victory in the Election 2024.
He urged the aspirants to talk politics of ideas but not insults because it would not augur well for the progress of the Party, especially in its struggle for political power.
