Ghana and China will soon sign a cooperation agreement to explore investment opportunities in the railways, tourism, and other developmental projects in the Kumasi metropolis in the Ashanti region.

Bilateral trade volume between Ghana and China reached an unprecedented high at 10.2 billion US dollars, last year, with Ghana’s exports to China surging by 60 per cent . 

China remains Ghana’s largest trading partner and a major foreign investment source, says Mr LU Kun, the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana.

The long-standing relationship between Ghana and China has been strengthened with the visit of the 43rd Chinese Naval Escort Task Group to Tema Port, Ghana.
