The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) says it is irresponsible for vehicle owners to fail to purchase extinguishers for their vehicles to save lives and property during a fire outbreak.
Inspect the fire extinguishers, especially of commercial vehicles, before boarding them, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Tema Regional Command’s, Divisional Officer III, Mr. Ebenezer Yenzu, has advised.
The Fire Service in the Volta Region says it would from early next year, refuse vehicles without fire extinguishers access to filling stations.
