Krachi- Nchumuru-Ghana, June 1, CDA Consult – Lawyer John Ajet-Nasam led a delegation from the late Prophet TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) to provide grains and cooking oil to widows, widowers, and the elderly of Krachi Nchumuru’s Garingushia and Worenja settlements.
The gesture was made as part of attempts to carry on the late Prophet TB Joshua’s legacy of giving to the poor in society.
The donation was made on behalf of Pastor Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late renowned televangelist, by the SCOAN’s Emmanuel TV in collaboration with the church.
The Emmanuel TV Team in Ghana assisted at least 320 needy widows, widowers, and seniors, including 120 from Garingushia and 200 from Worenja.
Mr. Ajet-Nasam stated that the donation to the needy was in keeping with the late Prophet TB Joshua’s foundation of giving, and he promised that additional help would be given to such organisations in the future.
He explained that the Synagogue Church of All Nations began with a giving ministry during the lifetime of TB Joshua, who once said, “See, your giving is an assignment from God, because your greatness depends on your giving, giving with all your heart to the poor, widows, widowers, orphans, the less privileged, the elderly, and physically challenged.”
That stance, according to Mr. Ajet-Nasam, inspired the Emmanuel TV Partners to have a good time with the widows, widowers, and aged in the two towns on behalf of Mrs. Evelyn Joshua.
“As part of TB Joshua’s charity work, we visited the Garingushia and Worenia communities in the Krachi Nchumuru District,” Mr. Ajet-Nasah explained. We gave sacks of rice and cooking oil to some widows, widowers, and the elderly as a symbol of our concern for their well-being. We recognise that this is insufficient, but given additional time and funding, we will do more of them.
“They heartily thanked the woman of God and the Emmanuel TV partners for the bags of rice,” Mr. Ajet-Nasam said. And we informed them of Pastor Evelyn Joshua’s desire to assist them whenever possible.
The widows and widowers, who couldn’t hide their joy, thanked Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the Emmanuel TV Team, and the entire SCOAN for their help and prayed that God would continue to provide and refill them with additional resources to help others in similar situations.
“In addition to his prophetic, deliverance, and healing ministries, Joshua was well-known for his philanthropy, assisting victims of floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters all over the world.”
In a related event, Mr. Ajet-Nasa stated that the Emmanuel TV Team recently delivered bags of rice, gari, maize, and wax print to over 80 elderly and marginalised people in the Naminyila community in the North East Region’s West Mamprusi District.
He intimated that the team might provide comparable intervention support to convicts in Northern Regions jails in the coming months.
