Three young Ghanaian swimmers will be competing in this year’s World Aquatic Championships to be staged in Doha-Qatar.
The competition is scheduled to kick-off on February 2 to February 18, 2024.
The swimmers including 2020 Olympians Abeiku Jackson and Unilez Takyi as well as new sensation, Christian Nortey.
The rest were Coach Jackson, an officiating official, Charles Mensah also Team Leader and the President of the Ghana Swimming Association (GSA) Mrs. Delphina Quaye, who also doubles as an executive board member of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
According to Mrs. Quaye, she believed that the three swimmers have enough experience to make Ghana proud.
She urged Ghanaians to pray for them to excel in their respective events.
