Parliament will adjourn sine die on Wednesday, March 20, for the Easter break, Mr Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, the Majority Leader and Leader of Government Business, said on Friday.
He announced this on the floor of Parliament during the presentation of the Business Statement for the week ending Wednesday, March 20.
“In light of this, the Business Committee entreats all Members to continue to devote themselves to the scheduled business for the week under consideration to enable the House to adjourn on the proposed date.
The Business Committee entreated all Members of the House to extend sitting on Monday, March 18, to ensure that business scheduled for the week under consideration was completed.
In the ensuing week, two ministers of state are expected to attend upon the House to respond to 14 oral questions.
