Tema-Ghana, Jan. 1, MNN – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind,” Pastor Henrietta Agorhome an Associate Pastor, Full Gospel Church International-Shalom Chapel at Adjei Kojo in the Tema West Municipality has encouraged Christians.
She, therefore, urged Christians in particular, and Ghanaians, in general, to live by faith, and not by fear in 2023 irrespective of any social-economic challenges.
Pastor Agorhome who preached the December 31st Watch Night Service message quoted scripture verses from II Timothy 1:7 and charged believers to enter 2023 with faith and refuse to allow any trouble to destabilize their faith in God.
She said fear is a spirit that comes along with worries to intimidate and disorganize and reassured the members that the year would be fruitful despite economic hardships.
Pastor Agorhome encouraged Christians not to allow the 2022 situation to limit their vision in 2023, “just believe, and let your dreams drive you through the power of God”.
Madam Hannah Dery a member of the church in an interview said that 2023 would bring good tidings and prayed for glorious things.
As part of the service members of the church engaged in a prayer of intercession for the nation and shared testimonies as well as offered thanksgiving and adoration to God for ushering them into 2023.
