Koforidua-Ghana, Feb 05, GNA – Reverend Dr Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, former General Secretary of the Christian Council f Ghana, has urged churches to always display maturity neutrality towards all politial parties.
“We must not make others not feel belonging in our churches based on their political backgrounds, he said.
He also urged churches to be mindful of the spiritual growth and maturity of its members so they make maximum impacts on society and national development.
Rev. Opuni-Frimpong, who was the guest preacher at the Ascension Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, in Koforidua, said the Church could only increase in numbers, and other church church activities if they helped shape the understanding and thinking of members to shape society and development.
He said in all aspects of life, whether business, politics, marriage, leadership or governance, the principle of growing from one level to another indicated maturity and must be seen in all endeavors especially those in Christiandom.
