The Sahene plea comes as the region struggles with poor roads, particularly the routes from Nkwanta to Dambai and Nkwanta to Damanko.
Speaking with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Nana Amoah, urged President-elect Mahama to focus on addressing the region’s infrastructural challenges, emphasising the importance of good roads for the region’s development.
Nana Amoah stressed the need for inclusivity in President-elect Mahama’s administration, encouraging him to appoint women to key ministerial positions.
“Women are integral to nation-building, and it’s essential that they are represented in the government.”
In addition, Nana Amoah called on Ghanaians to put aside their political differences and unite behind President-elect Mahama.
