Accra-Ghana, Dec.11, GNA – Award winning highlife artiste, Kofi Kinaata has called off this years “Made In Taadi” Concert.
The concert fixed for December each year was the biggest Christmas concert in Tarkoradi and was expected to bring people all over the country to experience the festive vibe in the Western Region of Ghana.
A statement released by the management of the artiste said the decision to call the event off was due to circumstances beyond their control.
“Multiple award winning Artists, Kofi Kinaata and the Team Move Management regretfully announce that, this years ‘Made in Taadi Concert’ and all related events have been called off due to circumstances beyond our control.”
According to Team Move, despite the unfortunate incident, fans would still have the opportunity to experience the performance of the artiste as he had been booked for a number of events this festive season.
It urged Ghanaians to visit Sekondi-Takoradi, which was tagged as “The home of Christmas” to have a feel of what Christmas was about and the events line up.
“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” it added.
Kofi Kinaata had over the past years impacted the lives of Ghanaians, most especially the people of Tarkoradi through his music.
The last edition saw the likes of Kofi Jamar, Amerado, Kweku Flick, Empress Gifty, Keche and many others who stormed the area to support the musician.
